Cahokia firefighters on Monday morning fought a recreation vehicle fire at the Cahokia RV Parque.
According to an employee, the fire completely destroyed a camper, but no one was hurt.
"I believe it was totaled on the inside," RV Parque worker Debbie Milges said. "The shell looks okay from the outside. Because the camper was sealed up pretty good it burned itself out. But everything on the inside was melted."
Milges said the fire started at about 8:30 a.m. The camper that burned was unoccupied and no one was injured fighting the fire. No neighboring campers were burned.
The Cahokia RV Parque is located at 4060 Mississippi Avenue.
