The recent fiscal cliff fiasco was a product of the dysfunctional, know-nothing, do-nothing, Tea Party-dominated House -- anti-science, anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-black, anti-Latino, anti-union and anti-college student.
A record low number of bills, 219, a good many of them important measures such as naming post offices (presumably after Ronald Reagan and Calvin Coolidge) were passed in the last dreary session.
However, the Republicans have a positive dimension: pro-angry God, pro-gun and pro-plutocrat. Not a winning combination for the future.
