Emergency personnel responded to a traffic crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck that occurred at 8 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound lane of Interstate 64 in Fairview Heights.

Fairview Heights and O'Fallon police and fire departments were dispatched to the crash scene. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene as well. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.

Emergency crews temporarily shutdown Interstate 64, just east of Illinois 159.
