Collinsville Police officer Paul Kilquist has been commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

A six-year veteran of the police department, Kilquist was chosen to attend Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. He returned from the intense, three month training program Dec. 14.

A 16-year veteran of the Air Force, where he serves as Military Police Officer, Kilquist's new duty will be Reserve Operations Officer at the 375th Security Forces Squadron station at Scott Air Force Base.
