Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a person was shot Friday night near Cahokia.
St. Clair County Sheriff's Department is investigating the apparent murder that occurred just after 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Amelia Drive in unincorporated St. Clair County.
More information about the victim or the circumstance surrounding the murder were not available.
