Illinois State Police continue to investigate the murder of a man whose body was found Friday morning in Frank Holten State Park in East St. Louis.

The body of Byron Perkins, 32, of Washington Park, was found by a resident walking through the park shortly before 10 a.m., according to Lieutenant Dave Wasmuth.
