I just can't believe what I am reading in the newspaper: "State House panel advances driver's licenses for illegal Mexicans." Illinois wants to be the third state to issue licenses to criminals -- yes, criminals. Anyone who violates the law is a criminal.

The United States is the only place on the planet that bends over backward -- and sometimes forward -- to bend the Constitution to please people who don't respect its laws. Some of the less stupid Democratic politicians want to fingerprint drivers. Some of those idiots in Springfield say fingerprinting would be too expensive.

Hey, who cares about the cost, those illegals have to get their licenses. Shucks, I don't mind those good ol' Dems raising my license fees to make up the cost difference. The good old Springfield boys estimate the cost to implement such a program would be only $800,000, not quite $1 million. Let's do whatever is good for those illegals.

If the state has that kind of money, why doesn't it lower our license fees?

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel says this is good for the state and will make Chicago and the state more welcoming to immigrants. Yes, sir, that's what we need, all right.

Oh well, the majority voted for these guys, so I guess we will have to live by this. Have a great day, folks, or as Jack Buck said, "Go crazy."
