The power is back on now. But residents of Dupo had a very cold Sunday night after an electricity outage left them without heat and lights.
According to Ameren, about two-thirds of the residents of Dupo were without power after a substation failure. The utility company's outage map now indicates that all customers have had their electricity restored.
The power failure is being blamed on a pair of blown fuses.
