Gun grabbers are expanding their emotional demands for confiscation to include scrapping the Second Amendment. Leftist extremists, led by the Obama media, smell victory after the atrocity committed by a mentally ill man in Connecticut. Their motto: Never let a good crisis go to waste.

The leftist solution to every problem is more laws restricting our freedoms.The leftist agenda is to strip away our fundamental rights and render us defenseless against an unlimited federal government.

Our Founding Fathers knew the inherent corrupt nature of all governments. They feared the standing army of a central authority. The founders added the Bill of Rights to limit the power of the federal government to protect the people's right to maintain their newly gained freedom.

The Second Amendment affirms the constitutional right of the individual states to form militias of and for the people to arm themselves for protection against crime and tyranny.

Over 50 million disarmed people suffered death by government in the 20th century as Hitler, Stalin, Mao-Tse-tung, and Saddam Hussein proved that gun registration and confiscation works quite well for dictators.

It takes a special brand of stupid to think that confiscating and restricting the firearms of law-abiding citizens will make us safe. The politicians have put freedom on the table; they are ready to negotiate our constitutional gun rights. It;s time to demand they stop this outrage and let them know that we will not tolerate their gun-grab agenda.
