Temperatures will rebound Wednesday with a high of 41 degrees under sunny skies in the metro-east.

According to the National Weather Service, the high will be about only 38 degrees on a mostly sunny Thursday. But then a couple of really nice days are expected to kick off the weekend. The temperature is expected to be in the 50s on Friday and Saturday with no rain expected.

Enjoy the warmer weather while you can. The high isn't expected to crack the freezing mark Sunday. It will be bitterly cold at the start of next week with a high of 20 degrees Monday and 19 Tuesday.
