The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

WEDNESDAY

8:25 p.m. AGGRAVATED ARMED ROBBERY - Live-Rite Fitness, 1024 Carlyle Ave. Officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery. The victim, and 80-year-old man, reported as he was exiting the facility he was approached by two males with their faces covered by bandanas, wearing black hats and dark clothing. One of the suspects had a handgun and forced the victim to hand over his wallet. U.S. currency was taken from the wallet. The suspects fled the area on foot.
