Some people on the left have argued that only musket firearms were available when the Second Amendment was passed, thus semi-auto were not intended or covered by the Second Amendment. They omit that the bad guys and good guys were equally matched with only muskets.

Today, criminals will find a way to obtain semi-auto weapons one way or another. Should law-abiding citizens become outgunned with anything less for defense of their life and home?

Furthermore, what about a tyrannical, future government that the forefathers feared? That was the main reason that a Second Amendment was written. The argument that only hunting and target shooting can justify gun ownership is a liberal myth.

The First and Second amendments are both under fire. The entire Bill of Rights is endangered. So is the America we have know and loved.
