Metro-east residents will get a taste of spring this weekend. But it's going to a be a brief one.

The temperature is expected to reach 52 degrees Friday and 58 Saturday under sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. But the temperatures will only reach 36 degrees Sunday, and will be stuck in the 20s during the early part of the work week.

The warm weather will come with strong breezes. Gusts Friday and Saturday could reach 29 miles an hour.
