How many members of the current Senate and House of Representatives are card-carrying members of the National Rifle Association?

The influence of the NRA over Congress must be very great because of donations to their political re-elections. It is amazing how so few can carry so much power over the American people.

There are approximately 6 million members of the NRA. Last year the organization even sent me a membership application, which I tore up and threw in the garbage as trash because the NRA is nothing more than trash.

Show me how an assault weapon can protect the average citizen or why an individual needs an assault weapon to go hunting -- not.

Maybe the U.S. attorney general could file charges of conspiracy to commit murder against Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the NRA.
