4 from the metro-east accused of tax fraud

Four people from the metro-east were indicted by a federal grand jury for submitting false federal income tax returns, according to Stephen R. Wigginton, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois.

Anaya Bluiett, 25, of Brooklyn, was charged in connection with three counts of making and subscribing (signing a name to) false federal income tax returns for the years 2008 through 2010.

Terri M. Boatmans, 45, of Belleville, was charged in connection with two counts of making and subscribing false federal income tax returns for the years 2009 and 2010.

Demetrius L. Combs, 21, of East St. Louis, was charged in connection with one count of making and subscribing a false federal income tax return for the year 2010.

Gemarian Douglas, 37, of Alorton, was charged in connection with one count of making and subscribing a false federal income tax return for the year 2009.
