The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BELLEVILLE POLICE

THURSDAY, JAN. 17

11:38 a.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Darwyn Murdock, 50, was arrested after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for the items. Murdock was transported and later transported to court.

5:24 p.m. Retail theft -- Dollar Tree, 5831 Belleville Crossing. Employees reported the suspect removed merchandise from the store without purchasing the items. The suspect was gone on arrival.

7:07 p.m. Burglary -- 400 block of North 5th Street. Officers responded to a report of an open door to the residence. Officers found the door forced open and entered the residence, finding no subject(s) inside. Property was reported taken from the residence.

8:17 p.m. Theft (under) -- Memorial Hospital, 4500 Memorial Drive. A maintenance employee reported property was removed from his maintenance cart while he was working on the lower level at the hospital.

9:46 p.m. Domestic battery -- 100 block of Arapaho Drive. The victim reported the suspect threatened her, and then pushed her causing minor injuries. The suspect was arrested, transported and held pending further investigation.

FRIDAY, JAN. 18

7:51 a.m. Retail theft -- CVS Pharmacy, 4609 W. Main St. A juvenile was arrested after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for the items. It was discovered the juvenile was a runaway out of Missouri and was released to a St. Louis City Family court official.

11:11 a.m. Domestic battery -- 600 block of East McKinley. The victim reported the suspect battered her during an argument. The suspect was arrested, transported, and held pending further investigation.

2:28 p.m. Armed robbery -- Cheap Cigarette Store, 314 Sherman Ave. Employees reported a black male (wearing a tan jacket, black ski mask, 5'10", slim, blue jeans) used a handgun to rob the business and two customers who were inside the store. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

2:37 p.m. Attempted burglary -- West End Car Wash, 2700 block of Frank Scott Parkway. The business owner reported sometime during the past 24 hours, unknown person(s) attempted to pry open the door to the business to gain entry.

5:22 p.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of North 98th Street. The victim reported between 7:35 a.m. and 5 p.m., the front door was pried open, entry was gained and property was taken.

7:15 p.m. Armed robbery, aggravated discharge of a firearm -- Dollar General, 4 Wade Square. Officers responded for a report of a possible armed robbery in progress. An employee reported a black male (wearing a brown jacket, dark pants) entered the business, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. During the robbery the suspect fired the weapon in the store. The black male fled the scene on foot.

SATURDAY, JAN. 19

1:12 a.m. Pedestrian under the influence -- 200 block of Freedom Drive. Phillip T. Nauden, 34, was arrested after officers responded to a report of a disturbance and located Nauden intoxicated in the roadway. Nauden was transported and held pending bond.

1:53 a.m. Pedestrian under the influence -- 700 block of North Church Street. Allen J. Moore, 49, was arrested after officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and located Moore intoxicated in the roadway. Moore was transported and held pending bond/sobriety.

2:03 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- 4800 block of West Main Street. Alexis E. Watkins, 21, was arrested during a traffic stop after appearing to be intoxicated and failing field sobriety tests. Watkins was transported and held pending bond.

3:49 a.m. Armed robbery -- Midwest Petroleum, 1200 Royal Heights Road. An employee reported a black male (wearing a dark blue hooded coat, black ski mask, and black gloves) entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled the area on foot toward the rear of the business.

12:16 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis --East B Street at North Church. The driver/suspect was arrested during a traffic stop after being found in possession of cannabis. The suspect was transported and later transported to the St. Clair County Jail and held pending further investigation.

2:23 p.m. Attempted residential burglary -- 500 block of Sherman. The victim reported between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., unknown person(s) used an unknown tool to damage a window to the residence in an attempt to gain entry.

3:54 p.m. Violation of no contact order -- 600 block of South Jackson. The victim reported a subject she has an active no contact/no stalking order against, was near her property in violation of the court order. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the subject.

4:05 p.m. Aggravated battery -- Memorial Hospital. Officers responded to the hospital for a report of a stabbing victim. The victim stated he was stabbed by an unknown person at an unknown time and location in Belleville. The victim was not cooperative with officers.

7:49 p.m. Theft -- 600 block of South 20th Street. The victim reported between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., property was taken from her residence and garage.

8:08 p.m. Attempted robbery --800 block of Sherman. The victim reported he had two black males in their teens approach him from behind and told him to give them his money. The victim stated he ran out into traffic trying to flag someone down to help him. After observing the two subjects run northbound on Muren, he ran to BP to call the police.

SUNDAY, JAN. 20

12:08 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- Mascoutah Avenue at Greenmount Road. Denadre Nolden, 37, was arrested during a traffic stop after appearing to be intoxicated and failing field sobriety tests. Nolden was transported and held pending bond.

1:03 p.m. Residential burglary -- 2000 block of Roosevelt Avenue. The victim reported sometime during the last week unknown person(s) forced entry to his residence through the back door. The residence was ransacked and property was taken.

9:22 p.m. Drunkenness -- Memorial Hospital, 4500 Memorial Drive. Joseph D. Birardier Jr., 33, was arrested after being located highly intoxicated and creating a disturbance at the ER entrance. Birardier was transported and held pending sobriety.

MONDAY, JAN. 21

2:22 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- Sherman and East D Streets. Nicholas K. McClain, 22, was arrested during a traffic stop after appearing to be intoxicated and failing field sobriety tests. McClain was transported and released after posting bond.

7:32 a.m. Theft under $500 -- Townhouse Motel, 400 S. Illinois. The owner reported U.S. currency was taken from a register by the suspect. The owner signed a nontraffic citation for the theft.

11:29 a.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 2000 block of Celebration Park Circle. The victim reported between Jan. 20 at 12 a.m. and Jan. 21 at 10:30 a.m., unknown person(s) took a 2012 Hyundai Genesis from the driveway.

12:34 p.m. Harassment by telephone -- 300 block of West H Street. The victim reported the suspect harassed her over the phone. The victim signed a nontraffic citation against the suspect.

3:48 p.m. Battery -- 500 block of South 21st Street. The victim reported Frederick H. Nunez, 39, battered him. Nunez was arrested, transported and held pending bond.

8:19 p.m. Pedestrian check, warrant arrest -- Circle K, 10 South Belt West. Officers conducted a pedestrian check on Shawn M. Tiemann, 25, and discovered Tiemann had an outstanding warrant out of St. Clair County. Tiemann was arrested.

9:51 p.m. Traffic stop, warrant arrest -- 10000 block of South Belt West. Nataka I. Thomas, 35, was arrested during a traffic stop after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant out of St. Clair County.

11:06 p.m. Traffic stop, warrant arrest -- 5000 block of West Main Street. Carolee M. Wilkins, 43, was arrested during a traffic stop after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant out of St. Clair County.

11:21 p.m. Traffic stop, aggravated unlawful use of weapon, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver -- 7400 block of West Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in which a handgun was located in the vehicle. The driver/suspect was arrested and transported to headquarters. At headquarters the suspect was found to have a controlled substance on his person. The suspect was held pending further investigation.

TUESDAY, JAN. 22

11:11 a.m. Domestic battery -- 600 block of East McKinley. Alphonso L. Harris, 30, of 4818 W. Washington St., Belleville, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery on Jan. 11 by Belleville police. The victim reported the suspect battered her during an argument. The suspect was arrested, transported and held pending further investigation. Bail is set at $3,000.

2:44 p.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 700 block of Hecker. The victim reported sometime between 12:40 p.m. and 2:40 p.m., unknown suspect stole her 2002 PT Cruiser from her rear driveway. The victim stated she left her keys in the car and the car was unlocked. It was later discovered East St. Louis Police Department had recovered the vehicle unoccupied after it had been involved in a one-car accident.

4:09 p.m. Residential burglary -- 1600 block of North Charles Street. The victim reported between 1 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., property was taken from her residence. The victim believes she may have left the rear door unlocked.

9:06 p.m. Domestic battery -- 1100 block of Dawn Drive. The victim reported she was battered by the suspect. The victim fled the residence and called 911. The suspect was arrested, transported and held pending further investigation.

10:12 p.m. Traffic stop, warrant arrest -- 6000 block of North Belt West. Jewel E. Scroggins, 30, was arrested during a traffic stop after it was discovered she had an active warrant out of St. Clair County.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, JAN. 18

Anthony Bruce, 23, of 2619 Sierra Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery in a public place, unlawful restraint, domestic battery on Dec. 28, 2012 by Shiloh police. Bruce allegedly in committing a battery and while T'Keyah Ross was within the 2600 block of Sierra Court, Shiloh, on a public way, made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with T'Keyah Ross, in that he hit her about the head with carseat; knowingly and without legal authority detained T'Keyah S. Ross in that he forced her into a motor vehicle against her will; knowingly made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with T'Kayah Ross, a family/household member, in that he grabbed her about the body and dragged her.

Coridarryl D. Kilpatrick, 24, of 208 Gettysburg Road, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving with a revoked driver's license on Dec. 30, 2012, by Caseyville police. Kilpatrick allegedly drive a silver 1998 Chevrolet Lumina on Illinois State Route 157 in Caseyville, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked.

Dennis J. Kane, 43, of 5519 Perrin Road, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of theft, subsequent on Jan. 15 by Belleville police. Kane allegedly obtained control over stolen property of Kyle Coats, being penny booklets, a John F. Kennedy coin and a bi-centennial coil, total value not in excess of $500. Defendant had been previously convicted of Burglary on Nov. 21, 1991.

Mark A. Willis, 53, of 19 Eddings Lake, Trailer B, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, two counts of domestic battery, resisting a peace officer on Jan. 18 by Fairview Heights police. Willis allegedly in committing domestic battery, knowingly strangled Donna L. Willis, a family/household member, in that the defendant grabbed her about the throat with his hands and applied pressure, thereby impeding her breathing; struck her in the face with his fist; pulled her hair; knowingly resisted the performance of Officer Greg Hosp of an authorized act within his official capacity, being the investigation of a report of domestic battery, knowing Greg Hosp to be a peace officer engaged in the execution of his official duties, in that he refused to comply with orders to remove himself from the residence of 19B Edding, Fairview Heights, and had to be physically removed; knowingly and without legal authority detained Donna L. Willis, in that he held her down on a bed against her will.

Darris D. Pierson, 23, 1621 Andrews Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of manufacture and delivery of cannabis on Jan. 17 by St. Clair County sheriff. Pierson allegedly possessed with intent to deliver more than 30 grams but not more than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Andre D. Jackson, 39, of 556 Falling Leaf Way, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated battery by strangling, three counts of domestic battery on Jan. 6 by Mascoutah police. Jackson allegedly strangled Sheena A. Berry, a family/household member, in that said defendant placed his hands about her neck and choked her on the first floor of the residence located at 556 Falling Leaf Way in Mascoutah; choked her on the 2nd floor of that residence; grabbed her about the face; struck her about the body with his hands; pushed her.

Randy McCray, 55, of 3103 Jefferson Ave., Apt. C, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of felon possession, use of a firearm on Jan. 18 by East St. Louis police. McCray allegedly possessed on or about his person, a handgun. The defendant had been previously convicted of armed robbery on Nov. 10, 1986.

TUESDAY, JAN. 22

Titrell M. Burch, 20, of 52 Delores Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of forgery, issue, deliver document on Nov. 13 by Southwestern Illinois College. Burch allegedly with the intent to defraud, knowingly delivered to Walmart, Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, a document apparently capable of defrauding another, in that it was purported to have been made by another, Southwestern Illinois College, said document being a check, drawn on the Bank of America, of Witcha, Kan., payable to Titrell Burch in the amount of $803.11 and signed with an illegible signature, as drawer, knowing the document to have been thus made.

Corey C. Hamilton, 24, of 826 White Oak Drive No. 2, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of two counts of armed robbery, armed with a firearm on Jan. 17, by Swansea police. Hamilton allegedly while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being an XBox, U.S. currency, and a wallet, from the presence of Kevin Harrison, by use of force; knowingly took a wallet from the presence of Aaron Davis, by use of force.

Ricky D. Robinson, 22, of 1437 Redman Blvd., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Jan. 20 by Brooklyn police. Robinson allegedly carried on his person a firearm, being a 9mm pistol at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.

Allison A. McNeil, age unknown, at 6127 Terri Lynn Drive, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of possession, display altered ID card and driving under the influence on Jan. 19 by Fairview Heights police. McNeil allegedly possessed a fictitious ID card appearing to be an Illinois Driver's License and drove a 2003 Chevrolet on North Illinois St. in Fairview while under the influence of alcohol.

Janeir D. Stennis, 28, of 1012 N. 14th St., B, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while license is revoked, subsequent offense on Jan. 20, 2012 by Brooklyn police. Stenis allegedly carried in a vehicle a firearm, a Glock 40-caliber pistol, at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible; while driving a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Steven Mitchell, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights, which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren, would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said white 2000 Ford Crown Victoria to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and that when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant caused property damage in excess of $300; knowingly drove a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria on Illinois 3 in Brooklyn at a time when defendant's driver's license was revoked.

Aaron T. Cory, 21, of 622 Rain Hollow Drive, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of theft on Jan. 20 by O'Fallon police. Cory allegedly exerted control over property of Howard Snare, being a 65-inch Vizio brand Smart TV, total value in excess of $500.

Cynthia C. Kremer, 36, of 811 Scott Troy Road, Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on Jan. 21 by O'Fallon police. Kremer allegedly took possession of merchandise from Walmart, 1530 W. Highway 50, O'Fallon, being nail polish, cat food, shampoo and other merchandise, total retail value in excess of $300.

Kevin D. Huey, 31, of 7529 Wellington Way, Clayton, Mo., arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis on Jan. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Huey allegedly had in his possession more than 30 grams but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

JD Harris III, 21, of 1276 N. 35th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon on Jan. 18 by East St. Louis police. Harris allegedly carried concealed on his person a 9mm handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business. Defendant was on a public way within 1,000 feet of a school being the Wyvetter Younge Middle School located at 3939 Caseyville Ave., East St. Louis.

Jennifer M. Gourley, 34, of 3278 Boca Raton Drive, Arnold, Mo., arrested on suspicion of theft on May 21, 2012, by Swansea police. Gourley allegedly exerted control over property of Dr. Dirk Massie, doing business as Performance Eye Care, 4111 N. Illinois St., Swansea, being U.S. currency, total value in excess of $500, said offenses constituting a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design.

Ronnie D. Hammonds, 50, of 148 Autumn Pine Drive, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of retail theft and unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 4, 2012 by O'Fallon police. Hammonds allegedly took merchandise from Walmart, 1530 West Highway 50, O'Fallon, being a 47-inch LG brand TV, total retail value in excess of $300; knowingly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 23

Perkins, Deborah A., 65, of 20 Kassing Drive, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and controlled substance trafficking on Jan. 21 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Perkins allegedly possessed with the intent to deliver 15 grams or more but less than 100 grams of a substance containing heroin; knowingly brought 15 grams or more of a substance containing heroine into the state of Illinois with the intent to deliver said controlled substance.

Douglas W. Oliver II, 46, of 20 Kassing Drive, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and controlled substance trafficking on Jan. 21 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Oliver allegedly possessed with the intent to deliver 15 grams or more but less than 100 grams of a substance containing heroin; knowingly brought 15 grams or more of a substance containing heroin into the state of Illinois with the intent to deliver said controlled substance.

Calvert T. Pelts, 40, of 1517 Hall St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery on Jan. 21 by Fairview Heights police. Pelts allegedly strangled Felicia D. Bevely, a family/household member, in that the said defendant grabbed her by the throat with his hands and applied pressure, thereby impeding her ability to breathe; knowingly made physical contact with Felicia D. Bevely, in that said defendant struck her in the face with his hand.

Learone Brandy, 48, of 1317 St. Louis Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property on Jan. 21 by East St. Louis police. Brandy allegedly damaged property of AT&T, being telephone and cable wiring, located in the 700 block of Vernonica, East St. Louis, said damage being in excess of $300.

Jeshane S. Price, 22, of 4307 Lincoln Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery (two counts) on Jan. 17 by Swansea police. Price allegedly while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being an XBox, U.S. currency and a wallet from Kevin Harrison, by use of force; knowingly while carrying a firearm on his person, knowing took property, being a wallet, from the presence of Aaron Davis, by use of force.

Anthony M. Luster, 47, of 1400 Missouri Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail, subsequent on Jan. 22 by Fairview Heights police. Luster allegedly took merchandise from Lowe's, 6211 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, being circuit breakers, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Oct. 16, 2008.

Dmarco E. Wilbourn, 18, 9 Pheasantwood Drive C, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of theft, subsequent (two counts) on Jan. 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Wilbourn allegedly took stolen property of John Heffernan Jr., being a Discover bank check, having total value not in excess of $500 knowing the property to have been stolen. Defendant had been previously convicted of burglary on Aug. 27, 2012; knowingly took property of Carolynne Sue Snyder, being a Discover Bank check, having total value not in excess of $500.
