CASEYVILLE — Police are searching for a burglar driving a black Dodge Durango SUV who on Thursday morning smashed through a residential garage door after burglarizing the garage owner's house.

The burglary occurred at 10:53 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 500 block of East O'Fallon Drive, according to Caseyville Police spokesman Gerard Spratt.

The burglar stole a 52-inch TV, a 32-inch TV, at least two laptop computers a .357 Smith & Wesson revolver, Spratt said.

No description was obtained of the burglar or his Durango's license plate, he said.
