Metro-east commuters face traffic delays Friday morning if they commute to St. Louis on Interstate 64.
A traffic accident at about 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate at Kingshighway in the city has backed up traffic to Jefferson Avenue.
Motorists are urged to try to find an alternate route, avoiding the interstate -- which is already choked because of construction work.
