A Cahokia apartment building was damaged early Tuesday when a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into it.

Police said no one was injured.

The driver was traveling on Camp Jackson Road and lost control of the vehicle which sped through the parking lot of the Cooper Apartments before hitting and knocking over the stairway of one of the buildings.

The apartment complex is located in the 300 block of Cooper Street near its intersection with Camp Jackson Road.

The driver was not identified by police. They did not say if they expected charges to be filed in relation to the crash.
