BELLEVILLE — The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

MONDAY

12:33 p.m. AGGRESSIVE DOG - 4400 block of S. Park. Officers and animal control responded to the area for a report of an aggressive pit bull type dog that was roaming the neighborhood. The dog bit and growled at officers and animal control. The officers used a Taser on the dog in order to apprehend him.
