The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

MONDAY, JAN. 28

10:30 a.m. Supplemetal, fugitive arrest -- Terrace Motel, 747 South Belt West. Officers located a subject with an outstanding nontraffic citation for criminal damage to property and theft that occurred on Jan. 7. Kimberly Helfman, 32, was arrested and transported to headquarters. Helfman was later transported to the St. Clair County Jail for an active parole warrant.

11:48 a.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis -- 400 block of South McKinley. Dwayne Cox, 21, and two juvenile passengers were arrested during a traffic stop after cannabis was located in the vehicle. All three subjects were transported to headquarters. Cox was released after posting bond and the juveniles were released to their respective guardians.

12:33 p.m. Aggressive dog -- 4400 block of South Park. Officers and animal control responded to the area for a report of an aggressive pit bull type dog that was roaming the neighborhood. The dog bit and growled at officers and animal control and had to be tazed in order to be apprehended.

3:42 p.m. Residential burglary -- 700 block of Emma. The victim reported between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., unknown person(s) forced entry to his residence and property was taken.

5:45 p.m. Residential burglary -- 700 block of Emma. The reporting party stated a basement window had been forced open to a neighboring residence. A family member responded and stated property had been taken.

6:16 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue. The victim reported upon returning home witnesses advised him they observed two juveniles damaging the side of his residence and a shed.

6:36 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop N Save, 4201 North Belt West. The suspect was arrested after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without purchasing the items. The suspect was transported and held pending felony charges for subsequent retail theft.

6:37 p.m. Retail theft, CHASI referral -- Moto Mart, 701 W. Main St. A juvenile was arrested after taking merchanidse and leaving the store without purchasing the items. The juvenile was transported to headquarters. After several attempts to contact a guardian, CHASI was notified and the juvenile was released to their care.

7:40 p.m. Theft -- 1200 block of State Street Road. The victim reported property had been taken, possibly by her grandson's friends that had been in the residence.

7:52 p.m. Armed robbery -- Family Dollar, 610 N. 89th St. Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at Family Dollar. Three male suspects carrying handguns, wearing dark hoodies, with something covering their face entered the store. They were not able to gain entry to the cash register then fled the store.

7:52 p.m. Armed robbery -- 600 block of North 89th St. A customer/victim was exiting Family Dollar as the suspects entered the business with their faces covered. She began to run from the parking lot and was chased by the suspects after the suspects left the store. The suspects ordered her to give up her purse and cellphone then fled the scene on foot.

9:32 p.m. Motor vehicle theft -- YMCA, 200 S. Illinois. The victim reported he left his keys to his red 2002 Chevrolet S-10 in an unlocked locker while he was working out. When he returned to the locker, his keys were missing from the locker and his truck was gone from the parking lot.

TUESDAY, JAN. 29

1:36 a.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Tara E. Keiner, 21 and Sean M. Cohagen, 27, were arrested after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for them. Both subjects were transported to headquarters. Keiner was released after posting bond. Cohagen was also issued two outstanding non traffic citations for visitation interference, he was held pending bond.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

MONDAY, JAN. 28

Earl J. Clark Jr., 24, of 1705 Jamestown Road D, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of two counts of armed robbery on Jan. 17 by Swansea police. Clark allegedly, while carrying a firearm on his person, took property, being an XBox, U.S. currency, and a wallet from Kevin Harrison by the use of force; took property, being a wallet, from Aaron Davis by the use of force.

Katherine D. Worthall, 55, of 316 N. Second 2A, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer on Jan. 25 by Belleville police. Worthall allegedly made physical contact with Matt Eiskant, in that said defendant struck Eiskant in the stomach with her fist, knowing Eiskant to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his authorized duties; and said defendant kicked Brenda Donat in the leg, knowing Donat to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of her authorized duties.

Terry R. Pennix, 26, of 837 N. 36th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of firearm and possession of ammunition on Jan. 25 by St. Clair County sheriff. Pennix allegedly possessed about his person .45 ammunition bullets and the person had been previously convicted of unlawful possession of cannabis on Aug. 16, 2011.

Ashley L. Geiger, 27, of 8844 Parkdale Drive, Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of burglary on Jan. 18 by St. Clair County sheriff. Geiger allegedly entered a motor vehicle of Douglas Clymer, 8044 N. Illinois, St. Clair County, with the intent to commit theft.

James R. Gardner, 19, of 316 W. Monroe St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted burglary on Jan. 26 by Belleville police. Gardner allegedly attempted to enter a blue 2010 Dodge Challenger of Dianne VanConia, 101 S. Illinois, St. Clair County, and a black 2007 Jeep of Jason Davis, 101 S. Illinois, St. Clair County, with the intent to commit theft.

Terry R. Pennix, 26, of 837 N. 36th St., East St. Louis, charged with unlawful possession of firearm/ammunition after a traffic stop Jan. 25. Pennix was stopped on 25th Street near State Street when St. Clair County Deputy Jesse Carmak ran the registration of the red 1994 Acura Integra and it returned stolen. A search of the car revealed three .45-caliber rounds of ammunition in the center console. Pennix is a convicted felon who is currently on probation. His bail is set at $50,000.

Akeem A. Haynes, 28, of 1102 St. Benedict St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated unlawful use of weapon, subsequent on Jan. 27 by Brooklyn police. Haynes allegedly carried in a vehicle an AR-15 223/5.56-caliber rifle and carried in a vehicle a SKS 7.62x39-caliber rifle at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible. Defendant had previously been convicted of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on April 7, 2008.

Brittny M. Anderson, 24, of 638 Third Ave., Gallipolis, Ohio, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and obstructing identification on Jan. 23 by Caseyville police. Anderson allegedly had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin; and knowingly furnished a false name to Gerard Spratt, a peace officer, who had lawfully arrested said defendant.

Holly N. Garson, 20, of 251 Freys Meadows, Pocahontas, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Jan. 27 by Fairview Heights police. Garson allegedly had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Carl L. McCaskill III, 21, of 4728 Tudor Ave., Centreville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful restraint, two counts of domestic battery and physical contact on Jan. 26 by Fairview Heights police. McCaskill allegedly detained Jelanee Thompson in that he would not let Thompson get out of a 2006 Pontiac in the St. Clair Square parking lot; made physical contact with Thompson, a family/household member, in that said defendant hit Thompson's face and bit her arm.

Richard M. Coleman, 25, of 3349 Bond Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of driving while driver's license is suspended, subsequent on Jan. 27 by Fairview Heights police. Coleman allegedly drove a red 2002 Oldsmobile Alero on St. Clair Avenue in Fairview Heights, when defendant's driver's license was suspended. Defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is suspended on Jan. 27, 2010.

Bernard Dunn, 29, of 8601 E. 106th St., Kansas City, Mo., arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Jan. 27 by East St. Louis police. Dunn allegedly carried in a vehicle a .40-caliber Ruger at a time when he ws not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediatley accessible.

Kevin Sanders, 33, of 3909 S. Berry, Independence, Mo., arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Jan. 27 by East St. Louis police. Sanders allegedly carried in a vehicle a .40-caliber Taurus at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible.

Coy Jones, 31, of 11951 Manchester, Kansas City, Mo., arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Jan. 27 by East St. Louis police. Jones allegedly carried in a vehicle a .40-caliber Springfield handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible.

Lawrence Johnson, 65, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.

Joshua A. Harms, 26, of Fenton, Mo., arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Lakieva N. Robinson, 23, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by O'Fallon police.

Anthony D. Miller, 30, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by O'Fallon police.

Orlando B. Smith, 44, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Ciera S. Moore, 18, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Tevin D. Jones, 18, of Cahokia, warrant arrest by Cahokia police.

Kyra N. Whittaker, 23, of Belleville, warrant arrest by Cahokia police.

Jeremy L. Spiker, 35, of Buffalo, Iowa, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence by Belleville police.

Katherine O. Worthall, 55, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery by Belleville police.

James R. Gardner, 19, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of burglary by Belleville police.

Hakee L. Mitchell, 38, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Carl L. McCaskill Jr., 21, of Centreville, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery by Fairview Heights police.

Richard M. Coleman, 25, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of suspended or revoked driver's license by Fairview Heights police.

Holly N. Garson, 20, of Pocahontas, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance by Fairview Heights police.

Ronald K. Bean Jr., 21, of Shiloh, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery by St. Clair County sheriff.

Lejon M. Smith, 38, of Centreville, arrested on suspicion of delivery or possession with intent to delivery by Belleville police.

Scott L. Conrad, 47, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of parole violation and warrant arrest by Swansea police.

Rachel N. Mills, 25, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance by St. Clair County sheriff.

Tyree Q. Fleming, 18, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Joseph C. Beyerbach, 35, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of battery by Mascoutah police.

Katherine A. Brinkley, 23, of Waterloo, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.
