Lindsey Marie Smith, daughter of Gary & Loretta Smith of Collinsville, IL is engaged to Adam Christopher Bales, son of Bryan & Jodi Bales of Blue Springs, MO.

Lindsey is a 2005 graduate of Metro East Lutheran H.S. and a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a 2012 doctorate in Physical Therapy - Rockhurst University. She is a Physical Therapist at St. Lukes East Hospital - Lees’s Summit, MO.

Adam is a 2005 graduate of Blue Springs H.S., and a 2009 graduate of Rockhurst University with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He is currently in clinicals for a medical degree - Kansas City University of Medicine & Bioscience.

They are planning an April 2013 wedding.
