I just wanted to acknowledge the professionalism of the Cahokia Police Department. On Jan. 23, two young men battered my employee and stole a car from my lot.

I appreciate their promptness regarding this incident. We phoned it in and within minutes they caught the suspects at the Illinois 157 and Illinois 3 intersection. Unfortunately the suspects wrecked our $7,000 vehicle, but at least we have our car.

Again, great job by Chief James Jones and all the officers involved. Tip of the hat, gentlemen.
