The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

FRIDAY, JAN. 25

12:14 a.m. Attempted burglary to vehicle, curfew violation, contributing to the delinquency of a child -- St. Clair County parking garage, 1 W. Washington. Officer responded to a report of two males wearing masks looking into vehicles in the parking garage. Officers located the suspects on the third level of the garage. Both subjects were transported to headquarters. The 16-year-old was issued a non traffic citation for burglaries. The 19-year-old was held pending further investigation.

TUESDAY, JAN. 29

1:40 p.m. Mob action, criminal damage to property -- 200 block of North 44th Street. The victim reported being battered by six females at her residence. The victim stated when she went back into the residence one of the females damaged a window screen. All the females fled the area in a vehicle.

3:06 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Meineke, 2307 Old Collinsville Road. The victim reported he parked his vehicle on the lot for repairs. Sometime overnight unknown person(s) broke out the rear window to gain entry where several items were stolen.

4:43 p.m. Burglary to shed -- 2200 block of Frank Scott Parkway. The victim reported sometime within the past 14 days unknown person(s) forced entry into a shed and removed numerous gardening tools.

6:31 p.m. Armed robbery -- Country Club Plaza, 5720 North Belt West. The victim reported as she was getting in her vehicle a man pointed a handgun at her and demanded her purse. The subject took her purse and fled the scene on foot.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 30

12:50 a.m. Disorderly conduct -- 200 block of South 11th Street. The suspect called in a false report of smoke in the basement of the residence. The Fire Department responded to the residence where there was no indication of fire or smoke. The suspect has made another false report to that residence recently.

8:13 a.m. Traffic stop, fleeing and eluding -- 9800 block of Olympia St. An officer attempted to stop a 2001 GMC Yukon for traffic violations and misdeameanor warrants out of multiple jurisdictions. The driver was identified by the officer. The driver rolled her window down to speak to the officer, however when she was advised she was under arrest she flipped off the officer with her middle finger, rolled up her window and fled into East St. Louis. The officer terminated the stop due to the fact the suspect had been identified and had misdeameanor charges.

11:30 a.m. Theft -- Crehan's, 5500 North Belt West. The bartender/victim stated a suspect was caught on camera stealing her tips from her tip jar while she was outside on a smoke break. The victim signed a non traffic citation for the theft.

11:47 a.m. Disorderly conduct -- Discoveries Construction, 6 Lebanon Ave. The business owner reported a former contractor came to his business and created a disturbance. The owner stated the suspect made reference to retrieving a gun, however never displayed one. The suspect left prior to police arrival. The business owner signed a non traffic citation against the suspect.

5:13 p.m. Domestic battery -- 500 block of Union. The victim reported her daughter/suspect became aggressive and threatening toward her. The suspect then battered the victim before leaving the residence. The suspect was located, arrested and transported to headquarters then later transported to the St. Clair County Juvenile Detention Center.

6:50 p.m. Domestic battery -- 200 block of Freedom Drive. The victim reported she and the suspect became involved in a verbal disturbance. The argument turned physical and the victim was struck and injured slightly. The suspect was arrested, transported for investigation.

11:53 p.m. Traffic stop, warrant arrest -- 1200 block of Lebanon Avenue. Ashley A. Lauf, 25, was arrested during a traffic stop after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant out of St. Clair County.

THURSDAY, JAN. 31

12:52 a.m. Warrant arrest -- 8800 W. Main St., Allen N. Jones, 35, requested an officer at the West End station so he could turn himself in on warrants out of St. Clair County. Jones was arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Jail.

3:30 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- South Belt West at Guetterman Drive. John P. Flanagan, 24, was arrested during a traffic stop after appearing to be intoxicated and failing field sobriety tests. Flanagan was transported and released after posting bond.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

TUESDAY, JAN. 29

Pamela P. Bryant, 43, of 304 E. Fifth St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of three counts of violation of absentee ballots on Oct. 1, 2012 by Cahokia police. Bryant allegedly not the voter, a spouse, parent, child, brother, sister of the voter or representative of a company engaged in the business of making deliveries to the election authority, unlawfully took an absentee ballot to the voter for deposit into the mail.

Antonio M. Davis Jr., 25, of 1032 N. 42nd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery of a peace officer and domestic battery, physical contact on Jan. 28 by Cahokia police. Davis allegedly made physical contact with Jarrett Neff, in that he kicked Jarrett Neff in the face knowing Jarrett Neff to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his authorized duties; and made physical contact with Tiffany Sanders, a family/houshold member, in that said defendant struck Tiffany Sanders in the head with his fist.

Barry Q. Lawrence Jr., 26, of 2940 Renshaw Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance on Oct. 16 by Illinois State Police. Lawrence allegedly delivered to Todd Goldasich less than 1 gram of a substance containing cocaine.

Juan J. Tiburcio, 42, of 2204 S. First St., Fayetteville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of domestic battery, subsequent offense on Jan. 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Tiburcio allegedly made physical contact with Omar Tiburcio, a family/household member, in that said defendant kicked him in the head with his foot, struck him in the back with a cord, grabbed him by the ears with his hands. Defendant had previously been convicted of violation of an order of protection on May 24.

Austin A. Williams, 17, of 1140 Beechcraft, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on Jan. 19 by Mascoutah police. Williams allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Dawn McClain, 1217 Beechcraft, Mascoutah, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Kirk L. Cochran, 20, of 1711 N. 45th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery from Dec. 29 to Dec. 31 by Washington Park police. Cochran allegedly and by means of discharging a firearm, caused an injury to Anthony Moses in that said defendant shot Anthony Moses in the left hip bone with a firearm thereby causing great bodily harm.

Eldren J. Staten, 18, of 3623 Trendley Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft from the person on Jan. 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Staten allegedly obtained control over property from Mercedes Lofton, two pizzas, hot wings and an Imo's food bag, total value not in excess of $500.

Brian A. Winter, 28, of 13 S. 16th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on Jan. 28 by Belleville police. Winter allegedly took merchandise from Shop 'n Save, 4201 North Belt West, Belleville, being a bottle of alcohol, total retail vlaue not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of theft on Jan. 17, 2012.

Terrill Whitehead Jr., 20, of 1435 N. 55th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on Jan. 28 by Fairview Heights police. Whitehead allegedly took merchandise from JC Penney, 245 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being one hat, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of theft on Dec. 13.

Lawrence Johnson, 65, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.

Joshua A. Harms, 26, of Fenton, Mo., arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Lakieva N. Robinson, 23, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by O'Fallon police.

Anthony D. Miller, 30, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by O'Fallon police.

MADISON COUNTY FELONIES

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 30

Lyndle L. Pyatt, 71, of Godfrey, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence while license revoked/suspended. Pyatt allegedly attempted to turn a vehicle around on the parking lot of Harmony Baptist Church and got stuck in the grass. Pyatt failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

FEDERAL COURT

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 30

John R. Eddy, 30, of West Palm Beach, Fla., was sentenced to five years in prison and five years of supervised release for pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud. Eddy and others victimized 22,000 people of $30 million in a telemarketing scheme. There were at least 54 victims in 28 counties in Southern Illinois.
