Eddie and Glenda Latta of Fairview Heights celebrated their 65th anniversary on January 24th with a family party in Belleville. Eddie and the former Glenda Clark were married on January 24, 1948 at Maplewood Park Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL by Reverend Fred Phillips.

Eddie is retired from Commonfields of Cahokia Public Water District. Eddie and Glenda are both active with church, family, and friends.

They have 7 children: Mike (Linda) Latta of North Carolina, Dan Latta of Florida, Judy (Sonny) Travis of New York, Rick Latta of Illinois, Nita (Denny) Marlow of Illinois, Brian Latta of Illinois and Karen Latta of Illinois.

They have 12 grandchildren: Michelle (Adam) Rabinowitz, Annette Arden, Erik (Evelyn) Latta, Aaron Latta, Philip Latta, D.J. Latta, Scott Latta, Amy (Mike) Pilato, Michelle Wisely, Vince Wisely, Chrystal Green, and Asa Latta.

They have 9 great-grandchildren: Brandon Latta, Kiel Arden, Kira Arden, Gavin Pilato, A.J. Rabinowitz, Aidan Pilato, Skye Latta, C.J. Latta, and Alissa Wisely.
