The Village of Glen Carbon lifted a boil order for the majority of its residents and businesses on Sunday.
A boil order is still in effect for those on Carma Street and the north end of Carolyn Street due to a recent water service break, according to the village website.
The village will notify those who are still affected. For more information, call 288-7226.
The boil order remained though water service was restored on Thursday.
A major water main break during a storm Tuesday drained water from most of Glen Carbon. The break was not found until midday Thursday.
