Published: February 3, 2013

Missouri highway officials reopened parts of Interstate 64 on Sunday night.

Eastbound I-64 between Hampton Avenue and Forest Park Parkway was initially closed until 3 a.m. Monday.

The right lane on I-64 east past Hampton Avenue is an exit-only lane for Kingshighway, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Drivers in both directions will face narrowed and shifted lanes between Kingshighway and Vandeventer Avenue this week.

Workers striped the three 10-foot lanes in each direction and shifted traffic to the middle of the interstate for roadwork scheduled to last several months.
