The metro-east will get out of the deep freeze Monday with a snow-melting temperature of 49 degrees.
There is a 20 percent chance of rain during the daylight hours with gusty winds that could reach up to 23 miles an hour, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday night will be cloudy with a low of 23 degrees and the wind is expected to die down to about 10 miles an hour.
On Tuesday skies are expected to be sunny with a temperature of 48 degrees.
