Where do we apply to be job creators in St. Clair County?

Published: February 6, 2013

During the election I was captivated by the appellation of those wondrous patriots Mitt Romney called job creators. My life mission was changed and I wanted to focus my life's work to be a job creator, although I was not sure how to go about such a grand mission.

Then I read about John G. Hewitt. St. Clair County agreed in late 2010 to pay $250,000 to Hewitt. The cash was intended to serve as an incentive for Hewitt's company, H Trading LLC in New York, to build a 62,500-square-foot, $6 million cargo warehouse at MidAmerica Airport. Obviously, Hewitt is one of the job creators Mitt lavished such praise upon.

So if County Board Chairman Mark Kern can arrange for me to receive $250,000, I promise to do nothing productive with the money, just like Hewitt, and create jobs for lawyers and other leaches on society. I ask Kern to please proceed quickly because my wife and I need to make arrangements to travel to the Caribbean to escape the winter and to place our money in a off-shore account.
