America's Central Port in Granite City will host an "e-cycling" event Saturday.
The port district is providing consumers the chance to get rid of unwanted electronics, computers and appliances. The collection will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7th and A streets inside the port district.
Most items will be accepted free of charge include televisions, computers, monitors, printers, cables, computer keyboards, computer mice, office equipment, phones, cell phones, clocks, VCR, stereos and audio/video equipment. Items that will not be accepted are paint, tires, chemicals and household furniture.
