Five years to the day after Charles "Cookie" Thornton killed six people at a Kirkwood City Council meeting, officers from the Metro-East Auto Theft Task Force raided his brother's auto storage business in Granite City.
Police searched Scrap Solutions at 5567 Dial Drive, owned by Paul Thornton.
According to police reports, officers seized three cars and a semi-truck which they allege are stolen.
