If you're flying out of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport this weekend, you probably want to double check your flight status before you head to the airport.
Due to inclement weather in the Northeast, 15 arriving flights at Lambert and 17 outgoing flights were canceled Friday morning. Airport spokesman Jeff Lea said he expected more cancellations to come.
A winter storm mainly is impacting flights in and out of the Northeast, including cities like Boston, New York, Newark.
Travelers wanting up-to-date information on their flights should contact their airline carrier directly, Lea said. He said many airlines are tweeting flight status updates, so following airlines on Twitter may be a good option for some travelers.
