A new eatery is setting up just outside the Siebert Road Gate at Scott Air Force Base. The banner outside the building at 813 Siebert Road in O'Fallon advertises a new restaurant to be known as Chicago Chicken and Fish that will feature a menu of shrimp, gyros, and philly steaks. The phone on the banner is 744-9990, but no one is answering it, yet. Stay tuned.

And finally, records from the St. Clair County Clerk's Office revealed that the recent sale of the century-old Wagner Motor Car Co. in Belleville to Oliver C. Joseph Inc., also in Belleville, totaled more than $3.9 million. Oliver C. Joseph, a Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealership, began selling Dodge in Belleville in 1914 and relocated from West Main Street in downtown Belleville to Illinois 15 in 2006. Rusty Wagner, fourth-generation owner of Wagner Motor Car Co., relocated his Buick and GMC dealership the following year. The sale was completed more than a week ago.
