Gusty winds that hit the metro-east Sunday night will continue throughout the day Monday with gusts up to 33 miles an hour.

The high temperature is expected to reach 49 degrees but the steady breeze will make it seem much cooler, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies will be sunny during the daylight hours and clear overnight. It will be mostly sunny Tuesday with a high temperature of 47 degrees. Tuesday night the temperature will drop to 31 degrees and skies will turn cloudy. There is a slight chance of snow flurries overnight and into Wednesday morning.
