Belleville blotter: Women face phone harassment from ex-boyfriends

— The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

Friday

1:08 p.m. TELEPHONE HARASSMENT - 1st block of Mariknoll Driver. The victim, a 36-year-old woman, reported the suspect called and left her two threatening voice mails.

Saturday

2:45 p.m. HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE - 1st block of West Pheasantwood Circle. The victim, a 43-year-old woman, reported her ex-boyfriend/suspect , 55, allegedly made hundreds of threatening calls to her within the last three days. The victim signed a citation against the suspect for harassment by telephone.

Sunday

6:10 p.m. HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE - 200 block of Abend. The victim, 30-year-old woman, reported her ex-boyfriend/suspect allegedly called her and threatened to harm her. The victim signed a citation against the suspect for the harassment. At 9:20 p.m., the suspect, Jason Closterman, 30, came to headquarters and was arrested. Closterman posted bond and was released.
