Ashley Nichole Bux, daughter of Gregory and Allison Bux of Belleville is engaged to Patrick Joseph Barud, son of John and Judy Barud of Collinsville.

Ashley is a 2005 graduate of Belleville Township H.S. West and a 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. She is employed at Allsup in Belleville.

Patrick is a 2003 graduate of Warrensburg-Lathan H.S. and a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. He is an engineer at Ameren in Collinsville.

They are planning an August 10, 2013 wedding.
