We don't need any more gun laws. We're already snowed under by laws that don't work.

We need instead to go to the laws covering liability. Under these laws and court rulings, the owner of automobiles and guns and other things are responsible for damage inflicted by them. We need to notify any gun owners that they will be held responsible for any damage caused by their guns, financially and legally, including jail for public endangerment. That would ensure that all guns in their possession would be put under lock and key, especially if there is a mentally handicapped person who lives there or visits there.

I accept this responsibility as part of my owning guns. So should all gun owners. This does not in any way limit the Second Amendment.
