Commuters might want to find another route to downtown St. Louis for the next few weeks.
One lane in each direction on the Poplar Street Bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. daily while inspection crews assess the structure of the span.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the work is expected to last about three weeks.
