Strong winds that shook trees and rattled windows overnight in the metro-east will continue throughout the day Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts of up to 29 miles an hour will make chilly temperatures seem even colder.
The predicted high temperature Tuesday is 35 degrees with a wind chill factor of 19 under mostly clear skies.
The high temperature Wednesday is expected to be 31 degrees under sunny skies. Snow and sleet are expected to move in Wednesday night and continue through Thursday. Up to three inches of snow and a glaze of ice on roadways and sidewalks are possible.
