I wonder how many of President Obama's fans watched his State of the Union address? I watched it, and heard two things that are not true. One being that the debt has gone down by $500 billion, I believe he said. Well if that had happened, we all would have heard about it. I didn't see anything about it in the paper or on the TV news. So it obviously didn't happen.

Two, he said we created 700,000 new jobs. If that had happened, unemployment would not be up. It is up slightly, but nevertheless it is still up.

Obama claims that raising taxes even more would help bring down the debt. Just how is that going to work? Do people want their taxes raised more than they have been?
