I've read Jim Walters' letters for years. This is my first response. His being an atheist I ignore. After all, there are millions just in the United States, more worldwide.
His severe hate of several topics I ignore. But his attitude toward the USA, our military, I cannot tolerate.
I served in Korea. He needs to visit a few of our national cemeteries. The millions there gave their lives so he can express himself freely. Walters could not live in any Muslim country; maybe some communist country.
A recent letter by Vernon Baugh was very good with many refreshing suggestions for Walters. I never see his criticisms of all religions, but I assume he hates the Muslims, too. (Me, I severally dislike them strictly for their treatment of their women.)
Walters should take a break and enjoy a breath of freedom while he still can.
