Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, California and New Jersey have come up with a new twist on gun ownership.

After they lost on suing the gun companies for liability by criminals using guns, their newest idea is every gun owner must have liability insurance to pay for any damages occurred by his guns. Even if a gun is stolen and used by criminals, the owner would still be liable.

Part of the case would go to state to help pay for gun violence. Gee, also pass the same bill for homosexuals to cover all AIDS costs and all the rich and poor people to cover their illegal drug costs and liquor users to cover all the damages they cause.

Darn, with all those people paying exorbitant insurance rates and government getting half the pie for being self- insured and then half the settlement cost because they would outsource any payment of more than $500,000 to a rider policy they took out for protection, you see the stupidity of the idea. The ones causing all the problems are all criminals, AIDS-infected, druggies and drunks who will not buy the insurance anyway.
