Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Lange of St. Libory will observe their fiftieth wedding anniversary on Tuesday, February 19th.
Elmer and the former Rosalie Sommer were united in marriage by the late Rev. William Brandemeyer at St. Liborius Catholic Church, in St. Libory, Illinois on February 19th, 1963.
Elmer is retired from Top Ag Co-Op. He is active as an usher at St. Liborius and with the American Legion Post 683 in St. Libory. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards at Daves West End and attending sporting events.
Rosalie is recently retired from Sparta Wal-Mart after 24 years and is now actively involved in the lives of the younger grandchildren.
Elmer and Rosalie have four children: Terri (Martin) Stellhorn of Red Bud, IL, Tim (Julie) Lange of St. Libory, Tricia (Jason) Schleifer of Okawville, IL and Tyann (Tommy) Thomson of Troy, IL. They also have eight grandchildren: Kyle, Kaitlyn and Karlee Stellhorn; Megan and Grant Schleifer; Owen Lange and Trey and Nathaniel Thomson.
They will celebrate their fiftieth on June 2, 2013 with a gathering of family and friends.
