A 21-year-old Belleville man has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Seth J. Karrer, of 2952 Harvest Meadow Drive, was charged on Monday with the felony in St. Clair County court. The alleged abuse is believed to have occurred Friday.

If convicted, Karrer faces between three and seven years imprisonment. Lebanon police investigated the case.
