The Belleville Good Government Party will have an event Thursday to meet young voters and register them to vote.
The event is from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pitcher’s Pub & Pizzeria, 104 W. Main St. in Belleville. Appetizers and drinks will be provided.
The city of Belleville candidates are: incumbent Mayor Mark Eckert; incumbent City Clerk Linda Fields; incumbent City Treasurer Jerry Turner; incumbent Ward 1 Alderman Ken Kinsella; incumbent Ward 2 Alderwoman Dorothy Meyer; incumbent Ward 3 Alderman Rob Anderson; Johnnie Anthony for Ward 4 alderman; incumbent Ward 5 Alderman Phillip Silsby; incumbent Ward 6 Alderman Dave Martinson; Victoria Weygandt for Ward 7 alderwoman; and incumbent Ward 8 Alderman James Musgrove.
The Belleville Township candidates are: incumbent Township Supervisor Dennis Korte Sr.; incumbent Trustee Mary McHugh; incumbent Trustee Paul Klingler; incumbent Trustee Joyce Laux; and incumbent Trustee Lawrence Wimpe.
