Light snow that began to fall overnight is expected to continue Friday morning until around 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
A maximum of about an inch of accumulation is expected before it tapers off. But, while the snow will not get deep, temperatures around the freezing point during the morning hours could cause slick spots on roads.
The high temperature will eventually climb to 36 degrees in the afternoon. Flurries could occur occasionally into the evening hours. The low Friday night will get down to 22. A high of 35 under sunny skies is expected Saturday. The temperature is expected to reach 40 degrees Sunday with mostly sunny skies.
