What is wrong with the American public? All we hear is deficit reduction.

I think back a week or so when BND cartoonist Glenn McCoy had a cartoon showing a Democrat telling U.S. Rep. Bill Enyart to start beating the close Scott Air Force Base drum.

I just can't figure out why we taxpayers are supposed to be against cutbacks on spending. I read that some 4,000 non-essential personnel may be laid off. If they are non-essential, why worry about them? Just keep the essentials.

We all know President Obama doesn't know when to stop spending our money. If it were not for him, we wouldn't be in debt like we are.
