G. Kenneth and M. Arline Strong of Belleville celebrated their 60th anniversary on February 2, 2013 with a surprise dinner party of family and friends given by their children at Ravanelli’s in Shiloh. Kenneth Strong and the former Arline Radford were married on February 5, 1953 at the Radford home in Fairview Heights, IL.

Ken is a retired auto-glass installer, and an award-winning craftsman of scaled wooden models and is active with St. Clair Lodge #24 as a Master Mason.

Arline is a homemaker and is active with the Wednesday Club of Belleville and the Rob Norris Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

They have three children: Judith (Philip) Schaefer of Swansea, Dorothy (Brian) Maue of Belleville, and Kelly (Mark) Judisch of Des Moines, IA.

They have five grandchildren: Jennifer (Jerome) Wildhaber, Jessica (Bryan) Roell, Kenneth McCullough, Jaime (Cody Walthall) Schaefer, and Kristen Maue.

They have three great-grandchildren: Chase, Grant, and Savanna.
