I have a dream. That dream is to see the new Mississippi bridge named The Veterans Memorial Bridge. What a long overdue honor that will be. They gave some and some gave all. And whoever has a problem with that, shame, shame, shame on them.

Shame on those people who don't salute Old Glory, who don't love these United State of America, who don't love God Almighty, and don't respect God's animals, our best friends.

And yes, in response to letter writer Jim Walters of Belleville, there is a heaven and a hell.

Speaking of Belleville, I would like to see a new police chief who came up through the ranks and is dedicated to combat all the crime now in that city.

Of course crime is everywhere. We all have to have law and order. Just look around. We need Neighborhood Watch crime fighters real bad. Support Crime Stoppers.
