A Madison County man has been charged with failing to register as a sex offender.

Sheriff's deputies attempting to serve a court order to Nathaniel T. Boswell at 409 E. Walnut St. in Alahambra determined that the man had not reported a change of address to authorities for more than a year after he had moved.

Boswell was arrested and taken to the Madison County Jail, according to sheriff's department spokesman Capt. T. Mike Dixon.

Judge Kyle A. Napp set Boswell's bail at $15,000.
